Mij : The Jodeling Astrologer (1969)**°°°
There's a unique and weird sound as soon as he starts yodeling and whistling with lots of echo effects. The man recorded just one album, then disappeared into the icognito once more. Jim Holberg is an American Scandinavian descent who was an Alpine herdsman (originating from Muotatal, birthplace of the old Swiss yodel). His guitar playing is very basic, (at some tracks somewhat out of tune as if that doesen't matter) but his voice is beautiful. Most of his songs are just ok, but don't differ too much. The effects on his voice is done in a very natural way and when he does this add an extra touch with a unique atmosphere.
The symbol of the Fool is typical for a buster. A "Fool" has the advantage of renewing himself in life all the time, is destined not to be bound by anything, so that he is able to experiences a lot, but also, he is depending on the appearance of unique moments & occurances. He depends on life as it occurs."
PS. Mij might not be "Mij" with an English prononciation. In Dutch (pronounced as "may"(without y) it means "me").
