North East Indie Climax Golden Twins : Highly Bred and Sweetly Tempered (US,2004)***°
I'm not sure if this is conceptual or not, but musically it listens like a somewhat cinematic concept. This is a very pleasant to listen to experimental moody minimalist release using sound collages of vocal conversations from a memory book somehow seemingly related to the children pictures in the booklet, as far-gone-memories, showing mostly for children uncomfortable situations and communications, based upon home-recordings going back to the 30's and 40's, with lots of acoustic guitars, piano and other instruments colouring with moody vision the memory book story. Really nice.
PS. Climax Golden Twins exist since 1994. Like Richard Bishop (Sun City Girls), -who participated with them earlier-, they also released various 'field recordings'.
