Autumn Ferment Rec.    Fort King : Naked Shadows (UK,2009)***°

I gave this preview release on cdr many spins, but without lyrics or much guidelines I felt lost a bit in describing the item even when it definely has shown its qualities well: perfect and often rather subtle and well varied arrangements on a fundament of guitar/voice songs, songs hanging in between wyrd folk sweetness with a warm voice, and more new americana/countryesque, also sweet laments…. I keep on trying, and the album withstands each listen, without revealing its deepest inner core. Better review will be added soon.
