WHO THE HELL ARE RENALDO & THE LOAF ?
No, these are not Renaldo and the Loaf,
but I think they are graphic artists too.

People who know The Residents can imagine what Renaldo and the Loaf are up to. Renaldo and the Loaf used a same kind of experiments in an acoustic way. Aldough we can sometimes wonder if these people are not actually part of the Residents themselves, but they do have a unique style and lots of humour. Don't expect anything else put pure filmic fun. The harmonies they use are as anti-harmonic as the Residents but this is no avant garde at all. Lets say it is a bless for the mentally insane, and a like joke in a dream for the other.
The music inspired me so much I wrote a poem to every song of two of their cd's. My inspiration is called :
"Renaldo & The Loaf wandelen in het bos." It is all in Dutch. For those who does understand this here are some :
Zin in zon
en zon in zin.
Zing in zong
en zong in zing.
Zink en tonk
en tonk van zink.
Zink in tong tong
en bong bong van de bink bink.
Bibliotheekgebonk omwille van het geronk
van de motor die ook nog stonk.
Bong bong zei de bink bink,
Tonk tonk op het zink zink
Zinkt in zijn schoenen, huilt en vervuilt,
zingt als een kind,
wat is hij nog van zin ?
De zon schijnt op zijn bon.
Alles is kapot. Maar dan toch nog het plot.
Plots moest hij pats
lachen.
