All songs from The Lesser Birds Of Paradise sound as if sung in a lullaby escapist style while not always very happy with the world outside.

When we were kids we had bears and they would absorb our little traumas so we would forget and would continue further to explore. In this case it is the songs, with lots of textures (not to forget toypianos ?, singing saw,..) amidst the arrangements of picking guitars and brushed percussion...

The Lesser Birds Of Paradise is singer-songwriter Mark Janka with multi-instrumentalist Tim Joyce, bassist Tony Bianchi, and percussionist Greg Thomas.
